Outside Fun

My kids love to play outside. Especially this time of year when it is not too hot and the mosquitos have not come out too much. Anyway, thought those of you who don't see us very often would enjoy seeing the kids. PS. Beck has had dry underwear for four days yeah!!!! and he pooped in the potty today on his own. No more diapers for the Leftwiches. I guess that means it's time for one more. lol

Bottoms Up
Yes, this is my son drinking the ranch dressing. Josh has taught us all. I never liked ranch until I met Josh. Mostly because I am not a salad person. But he taught me that ranch is good on other things not just salad. So.... it then became love. (Not love for Josh but love for ranch I didn't love Josh until later :)) We eat ranch on pizza, french fries, rolls (I love black eyed peas rolls and ranch)wings and many other really bad foods. My kids do it too. Beck was supposed to be using it for his chicken nuggets but his nuggets were all gone so I think he thought he would just eat ranch.Monday, April 7, 2008
Aggie Pride
This weekend we went to Houston to meet up with a bunch of other Ags to encourage one of our dear friends. I could not be more proud of the way everyone came and supported and lifted up Brad and Jenny. I couldn't help but think, "Boy am I glad I am an aggie. or better yet boy am I glad I was blessed to be part of the Aggies for Christ!" I have already been brain washing my children that A&M is the only college for them but I now have a little more of a reason to continue this push for them to go to the greatest school in the world. We had such a wonderful time visiting with everyone and Mike Perkins did a fantastic job leading worship! "Thank you God for blessing us with such wonderful friends and memories!"

The Big Train
Tonight I was putting on Becks diaper after his bath. I said "This is the last diaper you ever going to wear. Tomorrow you are going to start wearing big boy underwear." His response was "Choo Choo!!". I thought it was really funny because I never said the word potty train. (refer to the story a few posts ago to under stand this story a little better) I am quite certain he knows exactly what we are talking about he just wanted to make us laugh and it worked. Needless to say. This week starts potty training with Beck. My least favorite thing about parenting. I hate it. It's awful. But it is time. Past time. Soooo... tomorrow it starts. Wish me luck!

More Humor
Today on the way to school we had the following conversation:
Elisabeth (crying real tears down her face) "Mommy, I don't want ya'll to go out of town this weekend"
Me: Why not
Elisabeth: I just miss you and I don't want to stay at grandmas
Me: Why you love grandma
Elisabeth: But I want you the whole time
Hogan (from the very back in a very excited voice) Sissy don't cry granpa lets us make fires!!!
I just had to laugh. My boys are such boys. And as most people know my dad loves to build fires. He has almost caught the entire lake on fire. He makes dry ice bombs every new years. Very rarely do we go to the lake and he does not build a fire. I believe last time mom and dad kept the kids while Josh and I were out of town, Hogan and my dad did make a fire in the back yard so I am sure that is what Hogan thinks he will do again. Needless to say it did not affect Elisabeth one bit. She still wants to go with us.
