...Elisabeth's party was a lot of fun. I think I might be a bit crazy but fun. Everyone showed up and only one little girl went home. We stayed up until 1:30 am and the first girls were awake by 7:00 am. That makes for a really short night. But fun. ...Beck had his party at Chuck E Cheese. He got lots of great presents and is so proud to be three.
...he is the only one of my children who is afraid of Chucky but still wanted his party there.

I think your cake looks great! I'm very impressed! I love to cook and bake but I've never tried my hand at fondant. Way too scary! Do you ever watch that show "Challenge" on Food Network? The ones where they build big elaborate cakes are the best. You'd probably like it if you've never seen it.
I have a question since your daughter and son have birthdays really close together. Have you ever done a combined party? This year I'll have separate parties for S & D because I think a 1-yr. old party is very special so I want D to have his day, therefore S gets her own day too. But from here on out I'm not sure. Scott seems to think a joint party makes the most sense. I'm not sure I agree. Any advice?
I totally agree with Corrie--the cake looks great. Fondant is stinking hard to work with...especially when it is hot/humid. You did an awesome job, and I'll bet it'll always be one of his favorite cakes.
And if you haven't, you totally need to check out Food Network Challenge. It is one of my favorite shows, too! (Especially the cake challenges)
Josh and I watch that show together at night when we are going to bed. We like it a lot. Those guys are super talented.
I love the cake and I am way impressed... you go girl.
I have to agree, the cake looked great! I hope your kiddos had great parties!
Looks like it was just perfect! Hope you have fun at the lake and CS.
