...Snake found!
We had a close call tonight. When I got home from dinner I noticed some sand on the book shelf next to where the snake aquarium sits. I look around the aquarium and sure enough no snakey. I hurry and get the kids to bed because it is already 9:30 and they should have been in bed an hour ago. If I would have told them the snake was out, there would have been tears shed and craziness. By the way the last snake was never found. In case you missed it, my sister purchased Elisabeth another one for her birthday. Surely the other snake found his way outside. So once the kids were in bed, I started looking. I found him in the play room under a basket of swords. He was a fast little booger and he peed on me, but I got him and put him in the travel cage he came in with a brick on top. Needless to say, we are going to have to invest in a locking lid for the snake cage. I can't have all kinds of snakes loose in my house.

A little scary and man are you good about the whole snake thing... and I am very excited to see you that you are one of those moms that takes pictures of your kids before school... a treasure they will always have now...I love it and your kids are precious.
You have no idea how that makes me cringe!! Glad you found him this time though! I saw a dead snake this morning and could barely pass by it!! I think I may have a disorder!:)
You can't keep them in... and I can't keep them out... HMMM:) check out our last post, and you'll get it.
Oh. my. goodness. I hate snakes. HATE THEM. I'm terrified of them. No matter how small the snake is, I will nearly wet my pants in fear. I'm not kidding. So all I can say is -- you are an awesome mom and your kids are very lucky.
No worms, snakes or lizards in this house. Ever.
How big is this snake?
Would you like a ferret too?
I will now officially never own a snake (I hope). I really hate them, and can't imagine having one pee on me! You deserve mother of the year!
By the way, Trace's teacher did not go to your high school, but she is an Aggie. She is class of 05. Perhaps you know her from there, although she is much younger than us.
