Nine years ago, my sister gave birth to a precious baby boy. His name was Samuel Wyatt Young. While perfect to us, God decided that he would rather have him in heaven with him. It is hard to ever understand why God would bring such sorrow to our family but we know it is for his glory. My sister and her husband blessed their church with a set of swings in Samuel's name. Today we dedicated the swings with the entire family. All the kids had a great time playing on the swings and the playground equipment. Even the BIG kids climbed up on the jungle gym.
They had so much fun just being kids.
Check out this sweet face.

We ended the day by going to see a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. It was a musical playing at the local theater. It was so good and the kids loved it. Beck was a little scared of the ghosts. During intermission, I took him to the bathroom. After doing his business, I told him to wait one minute so I could go. I began to sit down and he says at the top of his lungs, did I mention the bathroom was crowded because it was intermission, "mom why do you have to poop?" I didn't have to poop he just didn't realize that girls always have to sit. So I said "I don't have to poop girls have to sit down to go potty. " Then he says really loud and silly "I see your WIENER!!" Let me just make sure you know. There is no wiener. I am no cross dresser. I tried to say really loud "Mommy doesn't have a wiener. You don't look at mommy." I was so embarrassed. I did not want to leave the stall. Of coarse I had to very quickly so no one thought I was pooping. When we got back to our seats, I told Josh he had to take him to the potty from now on.
