Boiling the juice with the pectin and the sugar (seven cups of sugar to five cups of fresh grape juice !WOW!) for 1 minute. (This is actually step 3 but pics are out of order)
Pour hot mixture into jars. (This is step 4)
All our jars of JeLLy! Yum Yum!
Gates takes a taste!
Gates found this beauty on our walk.
...and he gave it to me!
This is step one boil all the grapes for ten minutes. Aren't they so pretty? I love to see how God made things just so with such vibrant colors and beauty.
Step two is to strain the juice.
Notice the pretty maroon color. WHOOP!

That's so fun! I have never made jelly before but now I want to try it! : )
BTW loved the pics of you with your brothers and sisters. Please tell Shannon that her hair looked SO great! It is super cute
I am so impressed... looks good and if you get a chance send us some to Singapore (J/K)... they only believe in Jam here...miss the jelly.
Yum! Homemade jelly! I have only done that one time in my life, and what a big job! You constantly impress me with your ambition and eagerness to educate your children with all types of things!
Now WHY did you have to get up so early to pick grapes? I can get myself up to go to the gym but getting everyone up to go on a walk is....determination! :) Way to go, Mom!
I had to get up that early because that's what time my sister gets up to walk every morning. The grapes are on the path she walks. So we walked and picked grapes. Crazy! but fun!
